Personal Notes let you store any text securely with end-to-end encryption. Use them for sensitive information that doesn't fit into other categories.

Creating a personal note
- Open Ente Locker
- Tap the + button
- Select Personal Notes
- Enter a title for your note
- Write your note content in the text field
- Select one or more collections
- Tap Save
Features
Rich text content
Personal Notes support plain text content. Write as much as you need - there's no character limit.
Organization
Add notes to collections to group related content together. For example, create a "Work" collection for work-related notes or "Personal" for private entries.
Search
Find notes quickly using the search function. Search matches against both the title and content of your notes.
Editing notes
- Tap on a note to open it
- Tap the edit button
- Make your changes
- Tap Save
Sharing notes
Share individual notes via public links:
- Open the note you want to share
- Tap the share button
- Select Create public link
- Configure options like password protection or expiration
To share notes with another Ente user, add them to a collection and share the collection.
